Mr. William Jefferson Clinton, former President
of United States of America visited HITEC City on 24th March
2000. President Clinton spent more than two hours in Cyber
Towers, HITEC City, addressed an august gathering of CEO's
of top Indian companies, IT professionals, bureaucrats, ministers
and legislatures. He witnessed IT exhibition organized by
government of Andhra Pradesh. President Clinton also had a
look at the model of Cyber Gateway building, which is now
being constructed, in HITEC City. He was briefed by Mr. A.M.
Naik, Chairman & Managing Director, Larsen & Toubro
Limited.

Prime Minister of Singapore Mr.Goh Chok Tong
visited HITEC City on 20th January 2000, was accompanied by
Honorable Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Mr. N. Chandra
Babu Naidu. He had a tour of the Cyber Towers building and
witnessed a presentation on the IT initiatives by Government
of AP, made by Mr. J. Satyanarayana, Secretary - IT. Mr. K.V.
Rangaswami, Vice President, Larsen & Toubro Limited received
the Prime Minister.

Smt. Usha Narayanan , visited Cyber Towers, HITEC City on
7th October 2000. Chief Minister Mr. N. Chandra Babu Naidu
and his cabinet colleagues accompanied the couple. A presentation
on IT initiatives and achievements, was given by IT Secretary,
Government of AP.President Narayanan had dinner in Cyber Towers,
before proceeding to Shilparamam, where a cultural program
was organized in his honor.

IT.com 2000 held at Palace Grounds, Bangalore from 5 - 11,
November 2000, as part of the Andhra Pradesh pavilion. Chief
Minister of Karnataka Mr. S.M. Krishna and IT Secretary of
the state Mr. Kulkarni, visited the stall and enquired about
developments taking place in HITEC City. Mr. R. Sridaran.
Dy. General Manager - Marketing, briefed Mr. Krishna and his
entourage.
Andhra Pradesh pavilion won the best state stall award.

Sir Anerood Jugnauth, Prime Minister of
Mauritius visited HITEC City on 19th January 2001. He was
on an exploratory mission, to study the IT initiatives taken
up by Government of Andhra Pradesh, to replicate the same
in Mauritius. The Chief Minister Mr. N. Chandra Babu Naidu
accompanied Sir Jugnauth, as he toured IT office units in
Cyber Towers, HITEC City.

visited HITEC City on 9th November 2000 accompanied by Chief

Annan, touched down at, HITEC City on 17th March, during his
visit to India. An exhibition was organized by government
of Andhra Pradesh, major IT companies in Hyderabad set up
their stalls in the exhibition. L&T Infocity also put
up a stall displaying details and future plans of HITEC City
project.
